Have you ever heard? You don’t need to set object to null, because garbage collector is smart enough to handle it for you

well it’s not gonna hurt if you help garbage collector right?

When your variable is not local and it’s a complex reference type, you may consider to null it when you think you are done with it especially when the variable is not out of scope as soon as you done with it
